Elizabeth Bailey is an independent, registered jewellery and watches valuer. She has over a decade of experience in the industry, across auction, retail and valuations. After conducting valuations nationwide and internationally, assisting private clients and solicitors with six and seven-figure collections, she set up The Jewellery & Watch Consultancy. We are committed to providing our clients with the most accurate and informed advice, with valuations conducted by a registered valuer.

Only awarded to individuals who display the highest skill level, experience, and professional conduct, memberships to these independent bodies ensure the highest standards. Many insurance brokers and solicitors recognise this, requiring their valuations to only be submitted by a registered valuer.

- Cultured Pearl Specialist – Cultured Pearl Association of America
- Foundations of Appraisal Practice – National Association of Jewellers
We are also members of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, having achieved distinctions in both the Gemmology and Diamond courses, signified by FGA and DGA post-nominals. Accurate, informed valuations that are reflective of the current market are our priority – correctly identifying, assessing and grading gemstones is crucial.
In addition to our valuation accreditations and gemmological qualifications, we are members of the Society of Jewellery Historians, with a passion for antique, and mid-century jewellery, reflective of a rich and storied design history.
Locations Covered
Whilst based in the Midlands, we cover most of the United Kingdom, with vast experience advising clients in the East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire, Cheshire and Cumbria.
